Flanker Matt Hodgson has been appointed captain of the Western Force, taking over from the departing David Pocock. Hodgson has been with the Force since their first season in 2006, playing 83 Super Rugby matches for the Perth-based franchise. Only Nathan Sharpe with 92 matches has played more games for the Force.
