Heather Watson was the last remaining British hope after five of her compatriots crashed out of the AEGON Classic in Birmingham. The 20-year-old marked herself as Britain's best Wimbledon hope after she claimed a straight sets win over former British number one Elena Baltacha 7-6 (7/5) 6-3.
