The 18-year-old from North Vancouver, B.C., dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision to Croatia's Ivan Dodig in the first round of qualifying Saturday. Peliwo, who became the first Canadian male to win Wimbledon's junior title last month, was one of four Canadians granted wild card status.
