Top seed Janko Tipsarevic eased into the quarter-finals of the ATP Mercedes Cup with a 6-4 6-2 victory over Steve Darcis of Belgium. The Serbian converted four of his six break-point opportunuties and sent down five aces to go through in Stuttgart after one hour and 19 minutes.
