Bernie Ecclestone has demanded Canadian Grand Prix organisers carry out major construction work at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve or risk losing the race. After being left off the 2008 calendar, a new deal was agreed to host the race on the Notre-Dame Island until 2014.
