Tony Gwynn, San Diego State Baseball coach and pudgy Hall of Famer, who is part of a group looking to purchase the San Diego Padres, owes more than $400,000 in unpaid federal income taxes. Newspaper UT San Diego reported that Gywnn owes the US government money from questionable returns filed in 2003, 2007 and 2009.
