Before Andrew Stanton directed the big screen adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' sci-fi fantasy epic Princess of Mars, Jon Favreau was attached to bring the character John Carter to life! Favreau ended up directing Iron Man instead, which wasn't a bad move, and Stanton stepped into his place.
