Adobe's Premiere Pro was a benefactor from the uproar over Final Cut Pro X's release, when Apple's revamped pro video editing software sent the editing community in a tizzy by lacking several standard tools such as multicam. Now it's Premiere's turn for an update, but this one is far less drastic.
