MP3 Music:
What ways can I get my music?
There are several ways to get access to your favourite music:
Downloading, Listening or Buying
Downloading Music Options
Downloading music is ideal if you want to get your hands on your favourite album, keep it on your pc or mac and use it however you want. If you have an mp3 player, a music phone or want to burn your own CD’s, downloading music is for you. There are three main options for downloading music:
Top Up: This is the best all-rounder. Good if you like buying albums or just singles. Top up between $10.00 and $30.00 and buy mp3 songs, priced between 9¢ and 15¢, using this balance. Once it runs out, you can top up more if you want to.
Monthly Subscription: Pay an amount each month to download a set number of albums or tracks from the site. Money will come out of your account each month until you cancel.
Pay Per Track: Ideal if you don’t like buying full albums, you can purchase tracks as and when you want them without having to top up a balance or take out a subscription. Tracks are prices typically between 50¢ and $1.00, so it’s a bit more expense than the top up service.
Monthly Subscription Music Options
Monthly subscription sites allows you to download music for a monthly fee. This is a good option if you don’t want to keep worrying about topping up or paying for individual tracks.
Buying Music Options
Buying music is an old favourite and is becoming less and less popular, but it’s still sometimes nice to have a jewel case and a CD to get scratched and play in the car! Buying CD’s is ideal for people who aren’t fussed by mp3 players, prefer to have an actual product for their money, or still use a fangled CD player
