Carrie Underwood looked fantastic at the 2008 Grammys. The American Idol winner was awarded a Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her huge hit ‘Before he Cheats’. In her acceptance speech, Carrie thanked American Idol for starting her career and even did a performance of ‘Before he Cheats’. I must say I am loving the clothes change - On the red carpet and accepting her award, Carrie was dressed as someone you would take home to your mother then she turned into a sexy minx for her performance! Carrie Underwood sang in the new year on Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve show which aired on ABC. As always Carrie looked absolutely stunning, I swear she could wear a sack. It was the American Music Awards last night and once again (like the last couple of award ceremonies) it was Carrie Underwood domination. The American Idol winner went home with three awards. Carrie won favourite female country artist, favourite country album for her album ‘Some Hearts’ and she also scooped the T-Mobile award. Carrie was breathtaking in a short white petal dress but I think she looked even hotter in the open black dress ad hot pants for her performance - those legs are just so damn sexy! It was the Country Music Association Awards last night and Carrie Underwood has yet another trophy (or two) to add to her growing collection. The American Idol winner went home with two trophies. First, her single Before He Cheats won ’single of the year’ and then Carrie scooped ‘Female Vocalist of the year’. Carrie was totally thrilled and a little surprised to be walking away with the awards. She accepted the awards graciously and thanked God for blessing her. I would also just like to mention how breathtakingly beautiful Carrie looked.

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood released her new album ‘carnival ride’ this week and has taken another step towards world domination. The album has topped the billboards by selling 527,101 copies in its debut week, an amazing 206,000 more copies than original American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson shifted when her new album debuted in June - watch out Kelly, Carrie’s after your crown to be the greatest idol ever!
